Mission Partners
We are proud to partner in missions and ministry with the following organizations in our community and world.

Camp Sierra Linda
Kenton First United Methodist Church and the Northwest Plains District is partnering with the Oriental Conference of the Methodist Church of Mexico to support Camp Sierra Linda, about one hour south of Monterrey. This is the only church camp for children in Monterrey and serves over 2,500 children annually.
For six years, a team from NWP district has helped lead camp for 80-plus children each summer, while congregations across the district donated funds to provide camping scholarships to the children.
Our church, in addition to sending teams to help lead the camp, raises funds for scholarships for orphans and underprivileged children to attend the camp.
Heartbeat of Hardin County
Heartbeat is a non-profit organization and pregnancy resource center helping men and women who are facing a pregnancy or other family crisis. Heartbeat helps preserve life by either helping men and women raise their baby, or place their baby up for adoption. Find out more at www.heartbeatofhardin.org
Imagine No Malaria
Unlike many other diseases that are awaiting a cure, malaria was eliminated in the U.S. in the 1950s. However, in Sub-Saharan Africa, malaria continues to kill a child every 2 minutes. But, there is hope! Imagine No Malaria is part of a global partnership and together with our partners; our generation can beat malaria once and for all. By improving the ways people fight the disease using bed nets, providing access to diagnostic tests and medicine, draining standing water, and improving sanitation we have already helped reduce malaria deaths by more than half. Imagine No Malaria combines integrated health infrastructure, education and advocacy to address death and the debilitating effects of malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. Find out more at
